One of the reasons I wanted to visit Berlin was to capture at least one of the iconic Trabant. These cars still represents the core of the cold war as well as it's debacle.
Few vehicles have such strong connection with an era in a country as the Trabants of the GDR. . Unfortunately I would say that most of them probably are now kept as collectibles... I could only find one on the roof of an ice cream shop right behind a portion of the Berlin wall that is still standing.

This car might need to be verified to be from 1967. It checks all the boxes to the reference I've seen, however these cars didn't change much from one year to the next.
