Even though there was a person inside the car, when I approached her to learn more about the car, she said it was her husband's car and he was browsing around but they wouldn't stay long.
At least I have the phone number from the sign on the windshield... it was another car for sale at the MRADMC's Picnic at Hanging Rock
Caprice was considered one of the most luxurious cars in Mexico back in the 80s, (when they were introduced there). Remember, in Mexico we were pretty much closed to foreign markets much part of the 60s 70s and 80s, so we didn't have access to any car manufactured outside the country. Our options were limited to Ford, Chrysler, Chevrolet, VW, Renault, Datsun. And even within those brands, they didn't have their full range of vehicles available.
That's why I was a bit surprised to learn that Caprice has been that long.
